“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say: ‘Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Should aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.'” – Isaiah 12:2 – 6
These last few days I have teetered between a rhythm of work and life and it becoming a plate overflowing with busyness. Usually I don’t recognize it before it’s too late, so this is a step in the right direction.
As I read and wrote this passage, I paused and reflected on the Lord’s goodness. I taught a Bible class in the middle of today and just enjoyed the opportunity to slow down and learn more about Him. I am thankful for His Word and how it keeps me grounded.
