I am a runner.
But I won’t stop running races because of the events on April 15, 2013.
I am a volunteer. We have all volunteered.
And I am thankful for the volunteers who ran towards the attack to help those in need in the middle of a chaos and fear.
I am a learner. We are all learners.
And, none of us have stopped going to school (elementary, high school or college) after attacks on the innocent.
I am a shopper among many more.
And we still crowd the malls and enjoy this past time.
I am a worker among millions who go to a job every day.
And we all still wake up, thankful to be alive, thankful to be working and we go.
I am a person. We are people.
We are sad and angry and broken. But we are strong and resilient.
