This is my last day of the 31 day blog challenge and I can’t believe it’s gone by so quickly!
At the beginning of the month I had made a list of things that bring me joy that I could engage in because I was worried about being able to come up with activities. Now at the end of the month, I realize that I barely looked at the list! Focusing on joy each day has brought me to a much better place, and helped me to see the blessings and gratitude, even when life’s challenges arise.
Today, is known to many as Halloween, but as a Lutheran Christian, today is also Reformation: a celebration of standing by beliefs in Jesus and his grace. A focus on knowing that Scripture, Faith and Grace alone is what matters when it comes to my relationship with God and what comes after this earthly life.
Ultimately, Jesus is the primary joy of my life and the one which makes all the other joys possible! I am thankful for this earthly journey, to live our His joy and for this monthly blog challenge, which has brought me great joy, too!
The verse I shared at the beginning of the month, is an answered prayer:
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” -Psalm 51:12 (NIV)
Jesus continues to sustain me everyday and gives me joy to share with others too!
Thank you for joining me in this journey again this year! #write31days
