I’ve always been a fan of pumpkin spice. With fall being my favorite season, I love everything about it: the cooler weather, changing leaves, visits to the orchard, apple cider, pumpkin pie, etc…
Now when you see and hear PSL, you know fall is coming (even though I think Starbucks starting serving them in August!). A few weeks back, I went to get my first one. I always just get a tall and when I went to pay they said, “$4.50, please.” I mean know specialty coffee is expensive, but that was a little more than I was expecting!
So, I decided there must be a way to make it cheaper from home. Sure enough, I found it on Pinterest and I had all the ingredients on hand!
Since I took yesterday morning off to visit with friends, I had the time to use my slow cooker. One hour of letting the ingredients mix and just like that, I had my very own PSL! It was wonderful! Of course, the first time you make a recipe, there are kinks to be worked out, but there is also freedom to change the amounts to fit your tastebuds.
I love finding a new recipe that works and that I can try again! My husband loved it, too, which means I will be able to enjoy more pumpkin spice on the cheap, from the comfort of my own home!
