Tragedy in Real Time

I’m exhausted and mentally drained after what we have experienced in life on this planet and in the details reported on television, internet and radio this week.

I was going to write a post about it, but this article from NPR does a better job and really sums it up.

Another note: One of the uncles of the bombing suspects gave an impassioned speech late last week. He told his nephews to “ask for forgiveness.” You don’t hear that too often. It’s a hard thing to do, especially in this ┬ákind of situation. Perhaps I will write more about that later, because it really resonated with me. Yet, I am still processing through it all.
