I recently saw a segment on the Today show about dealing with boys. I also saw a discussion about it on an email list serve. Then, I came across this article related to the problem we are facing today with teenage girls and sex.
I had heard most of this before, but there were a few new interesting insights, not all that I agreed with, but still something to consider.
Now I wonder…
Do our teenage girls really think about sex more often today than in the past?
Are we dumbing down teenage girls based on media stereotypes and assumptions?
How do we deal with this issue as educators, church workers and parents?
